Tokyo Narita Airport
Tokyo has two airports,
Narita Airport,
which handles mostly international air traffic
and is the arrival point of most foreign visitors,
and
Haneda Airport, which handles
mostly domestic air traffic.
Narita Airport, formally known
as New Tokyo International Airport,
is located in the city of Narita in Chiba Prefecture,
about 60 km outside of Tokyo. It consists of two
terminal buildings, terminal 1
and terminal 2, with each airline
being assigned to one of the two terminals.
In terms of transport, it is recommened to take
either the train (see info. beside)
or the bus which will take you
to Tokyo Station in about 80 minutes (3,000 Yen).
Forget about taking a cab - it
would take you a fortune and might not take you
there much faster.
Also, make sure to stop at the right one and double
check the airline you are taking (see tables beside).
